Who actually submits my applications?
That's the Plus tier — coming soon. When it launches, we'll submit each application on your behalf as your authorized agent, using a combination of automated tools and trained human specialists: open each job in your tracker, pick the right CV variant, answer the screening questions using your saved bank, and submit. We use automation for the parts that scale (CV generation, ATS scoring, and recruiter discovery) and human judgment for the calls that matter (which job to actually submit, how to phrase the cover note, and whether to follow up).
What's the difference between Free, Base, and Plus?
Free is the LinkedIn-wide job board with full recruiter contacts — useful on day one even if you do everything yourself. Base ($200/mo) adds tailored CVs per application and drafted outreach you can review and send. Plus ($400/mo) is coming soon — it will add the apply-for-you step, where we submit applications on your behalf using a combination of automated tools and trained specialists, with priority outreach.
Which job boards do you scrape?
MVP scope is LinkedIn-wide universal scrape. Indeed, Naukri, and other boards are deferred — not because we can't, but because LinkedIn alone covers ~85% of the listings our target clients want, and shipping one source well beats two sources poorly. We'll add more once subscribers are asking for them in measurable numbers.
How fast will I see results?
Free: instantly. Sign in with Google and the board is live. Base ($200/mo): your first daily kit (tailored CVs + recruiter dossiers) lands within 24 hours of completing onboarding. Plus ($400/mo) is coming soon — once it ships, applications we submit on your behalf will start the day after your first kit, assuming your apply-profile is filled out.
Can I cancel or pause anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the dashboard, no questions, no calls. Pause with one click and resume later — paused accounts don't generate applications and aren't billed. No cancellation fees, no minimum commitments.
How is my data stored?
Encrypted at rest with AES-256 (Supabase Vault for ATS credentials and the most sensitive fields, AES-256-GCM with rotated keys for everything else). Row-level security per client. We never share your data with third parties. Right of erasure honored — request deletion anytime by emailing support@interviewsurge.com, and we erase your data within 30 days.
Do you guarantee interviews?
No. The name says "surge" not "guarantee" for a reason. We can guarantee the inputs — daily tailored applications, drafted outreach, recruiter contacts — and those inputs reliably produce more interviews than the manual approach for most candidates. But hiring is a function of role fit, market timing, and your interview performance. We don't sell promises we can't keep.
Where is the team based?
Small remote team. The product, engineering, and ops are run by people who've been on both sides of the hiring conversation — applied to hundreds of roles ourselves and recruited at startups. We picked this problem because we found existing services either too generic (the same CV blasted at every role) or too expensive (boutique career coaching at $5k+).
